Dal Joesaphat - Lady Loch 2008 Download PFD of results here.  The annual Novices canoe race on the Berg River, from the Dal Josphat
Bridge (Paarl) to the Lady Loch Bridge (Wellington), was raced in
excellent conditions.
Following the rain in the mid-week, the Berg River rose accordingly,
giving paddlers an ideal river level and as the weather of the day was
perfect - blue skies and no wind, it was a pleasant experience for all
paddlers - especially those novices who had tentatively taken to the
river for the first time.
There was a good turn out of experienced paddlers too, to help novices
get the feel of river paddlers and the W.C.C.U. was grateful for that
input as it was invaluable.
